FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

A Significant Development Opportunity offering Highway Interchange Retail, Tourist Commercial & Golf Course Residential Development.

Trilogy has purchased from Hancock Timber Reserves Ltd. a freehold interest in 764 acres of managed forest lands located in the Village of Cumberland in the Comox Valley on the Central East coast of Vancouver Island. The property includes 9 kilometers of high frontage and contains a diverse and beautiful landscape of streams, rolling hills, valley floor, and wetlands. It is Trilogy’s intent to undergo a thorough process of pre-development planning, rezoning, and servicing of these lots so that they will be available for development by Trilogy and others.

The Cumberland Lands represent a unique opportunity to define and create one of the largest and most significant commercial retail developments in the Central East Coast of Vancouver Island. This region, the third largest on Vancouver Island, is undergoing a very healthy economic expansion, supported by strong demographics in both resident and tourist populations. In addition, the highway interchange property is particularly well situated on Highway 19, the main north-south transportation route on Vancouver Island, at the turnoff into the Comox Valley region. Businesses are attracted to the region for its obvious location advantages in serving central and northern Vancouver Island. As well, its proximity to the Greater Vancouver Mainland, it’s lower cost of living, its obvious natural beauty and recreational amenities including the Mount Washington ski area, and its diversified and skilled workforce, have all contributed to its vibrant economy.
