Following close on the success of Whistler's Marketplace, Market Pavilion was developed to provide additional mixed-use commercial and residential real estate, directly adjacent to the already-bustling Whistler's Marketplace. Similar to Marketplace, the development program involved the pre-sale of residential condominiums in Pavilion and also introduced for Trilogy, the pre-sale of commercial retail and office units. The pre-sale concept for residential and commercial real estate was quickly adopted by other Whistler developers in the mid-‘90's resulting in a virtual doubling in size of Whistler Village within less than a ten year period.

Built in partnership with Concert Properties, Market Pavilion demonstrates Trilogy's ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of the marketplace. By offering smaller, affordably priced resort condominiums, it enabled mid-market investors and ski enthusiasts to become stakeholders in Whistler's rapidly growing economy.

Recognizing that "building up"was achievable whereas "building out"was not, the condominium units at Marketplace, while relatively small in actual size, were cleverly designed to incorporate vaulted ceilings and sunken living areas, thereby adding "visual"space and perceived area to a unit.
